Combat Robotics II: Excavator

The successor to Purple Pain, this ant-weight class combat robot adopts a vertical spinner as opposed to the horizontal spinner design of Purple Pain. Excavator is lower to the ground and features a heavier, more advanced weapon. The new weapon is asymmetric but has a balanced moment of inertia around the center of the motor it sits around. This way the range can be extended without creating too heavy of a weapon. Additionally, Excavator supports four wheel drive and features much smaller wheels with a higher rpm. Aluminum sheets are cut and secured as shielding on most areas of potential contact, and a large sheet is positioned on the front slope of the bot as well to act as a plow. The other two bits of aluminum shielding serve as protection for the wheels. Excavator also features two aluminum forks in the front to help trap opponents and direct them towards the weapon. In short, it is stronger, more dangerous, and features a more dependable weapon system!
